Mutt Williams Action Figure Biography
Mutt Williams Action Figures are a newer addition to the Indiana Jones Action Figures collection.
Mutt Williams is a fictitious character in the Indiana Jones world, played by Shia LaBeouf. He debuted in Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as a motorcycle greaser and as Jones’ side kick. He’s the child of onetime saloon proprietor Marion Ravenwood and archeologist Indiana Jones. But, Indiana & Mutt are oblivious to their kinship till the happenings in Crystal Skull.
Mutt features a crosswise scar on his cheek created in a duel he had with Irina Spalko. He has declared that his preparatory school training has prepared him to be capable with a sword. The book tells how Williams was a champ on his dueling squad, but he was expelled from school because he placed wagers on his matches.
Frank Marshall commented Mutt exemplifies a young cockyness, to demonstrate that Jones is experienced and wiser. Shia LaBeouf was Steven Spielberg’s 1st and sole pick for the part. Charged up at the thought of being in a movie version of Indiana Jones, Shia signed up without even looking at the script and he didn’t even know what part he would act. Shia checked out Rebel Without a Cause, Blackboard Jungle and The Wild One to enter his persona’s mindset. He copyed idiosyncrasies and lines from fictional characters in those movies, like the employment of a switchblade knife as a weapon. Bona fide fifties jackets were obtained for his wardrobe, while his motorcycle was provided by Harley-Davidson.

George Lucas was wanted to produce a spinoff about Mutt Williams & his personal escapades, and have Indiana Jones in a supporting part. But George Lucas afterward recanted a statement about a possible spinoff series or of Shia assuming the leading role of the Indiana Jones series, saying that Harrison is Indiana, and no Harrison signifies no Indy.
Mutt Williams job before encountering Indiana Jones was a motorcycle grease monkey. It’s addtionally brought out that his mom tried to place him in numerous preparatory schools that he felt no interest in. When at school it’s ascertained that he stood out in sports, especially in fencing.
A twelve inch action figure and two smaller Mutt Williams action figures were recently made available along with an Adventures Heroes figure and a deluxe action figure of Mutt on his motorcycle. Mutt Williams is also available in 4 Lego set Indiana Jones series that are based on Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
